Prequalification. Carrying out package 7 of the Cumhuriyet water treatment works as part of the Greater Istanbul water supply second stage project - the Melen system. The works, to be carried out in the Beykoz and Tarabya region, 15 kilometres north of Istanbul, comprise the following tunnel works: 1) 982.8 metres of the Ortacesme tunnel; 2) 5,571.5 metres of the Bosporus tunnel; 3) 2,557.6 metres of Ayazaga tunnel; and 4) 137.3 metres of connections between tunnels. Financed by Japan's Overseas Economic Co-operation Fund.
