Two new power contracts

The US Army has awarded design and build prime contracts worth a combined $200 million to Italy's Bertoliand IAP Worldwide Services of the US to provide electricity generators at sites across the country.

The two one-year, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (ID/IQ) contracts each have a maximum value of $100 million and cover the procurement, installation and operation of generator sets and associated components. The equipment will be used in the reconstruction and maintenance of pumping stations, dams and barrages and other facilities across the country.
