A federal law clearing the way for the Dubai International Financial Centre is being finalised, but there is no firm date for when it will be issued, Governor of the Central Bank of the UAE Sultan bin Nasser al-Suwaidi said in an interviewpublished in the MEED UAE Special Report on 14 March.
He said he believed the federal law 'is being finalised..However, the central bank does not have a schedule for this as it is very much in the hands of the Justic Ministry so I can't given a definite time.'
