UAE-based Majid Al Futtaim Properties has said its first shopping destination in Lebanon, the Beirut City Centre, is set to open in early 2013 as planned. The $300m project is located in Beirut's Hazmieh district, and will feature more than 40 unique brands and an integrated leisure concept. It will have a total of 200 stores - or 60,000 sq m of retail space spread over three levels, parking for 1,800 cars and feature a unique open-air rooftop concept.
