Saif Al Suwaidi, Director of the UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced the use of full-body scanners at airports in the UAE has been postponed due to concerns they pose health hazards to travellers, Gulf News has reported. “The installation of the body scanner is not obligatory.
