The UAE signed deals yesterday to acquire 16 military transport aircraft from Lockhead and Boeing for Dhs11bn ($2.99bn). The sale includes four C-17 heavy transport aircraft from Boeing and 12 Lockhead Martin C-130J Super Hercules, in addition to supplementary contracts for training services, and support.
