UAE national Captain Samir M. Al Sayed Al Hashemi, chairman and chief executive officer of Legacy Aviation, an aviation consulting firm, is assisting in establishing an airline in the newly independent African state of South Sudan, Gulf News has reported. Al Hashemi is set to arrange start-up funds of up to $40m (Dhs146.8m) to kick-start Juba Air in April.
