A source at the UAE government says an International Monetary Fund (IMF) report on the country’s economy will now be published.
The timing of the publication is not clear.
The IMF concluded its latest Article IV consultation with the UAE, which involved an analysis of the economic situation and policies of the country, on 9 January.
The report was completed last month.
Sources at the IMF have previously indicated to MEED that it had decided not to publish the report at the request of Abu Dhabi.
No one at the IMF was immediately available for comment on the latest development.
