The UAE is setting up a new tourism authority that will bring together the seven emirates under the umbrella of a federal body run by the Ministry of Culture, The National has reported. The president of the UAE has ordered the creation of the new federal tourism authority, whose name and full mandate will be released shortly. At minimum, it is expected that the authority will set protocol and maintain relationships with other countries.
