UK's Aedas low-bids for Bahrain consultancy work

The UK’s Aedas has submitted the low-bid of BD2.23m ($6m) for a consultancy contract in Bahrain covering the design and supervision of a proposed academic building in the capital, Manama.

Seven other firms submitted bids for the work. They were the UK’s RRA Architects. RMJM and Sheppard Robson, the UAE’s MLM International, Beirut-based Dar al-Handasah (Shair & Partners) and Khatib & Alami, and Cansult Maunsell, part of the US-based Aecom.

Khatib & Alami submitted the second low-bids of BD2.28m with the UK’s Sheppard Robson third lowest with BD2.6m.

The local Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company is the client for the work.
