Valerie Lindsay

Position: Dean of faculty of business, University of Wollongong in Dubai (UOWD)

Biography: In September 2013, Valerie Lindsay became dean of UOWD’s faculty of business. She previously worked at the UK’s University of Warwick, specialising in strategy and international business.

She has a doctorate in international strategy from Warwick, a master’s degree in clinical biochemistry from Otago University and an MBA from Victoria University of Wellington, both in New Zealand.

She began her career in biochemistry research, before moving into management within the New Zealand government. Lindsay is a member of the Academy of International Business and the Australia New Zealand International Business Academy.
