Local contractor will finish second phase of infrastructure work
Dubai Industrial City has awarded the local Wade Adams Contracting a contract to finish the second phase of infrastructure work on its Dubai Industrial City development.
The work will involve the completion of all sewage, water and irrigation and road works. The project also involves the construction of telecommunication networks and electrical ducts.
The scope of proposed works will also include all of the required testing and commissioning of the utilities works.
The project is estimated for completion in 2011.
Industrial City is located on the Emirates Road, near the Al-Maktoum airport, and covers an area of 52 square kilometres.
The project will be managed by Tamdeen.
Both Dubai Industrial City and Tamdeen are part of Tecom Investments, which is a subsidiary of Dubai Holding.
