Wataniya Airways, Kuwait's new full service luxury airline, has announced that it will be bringing forward its first scheduled flights to Saturday, January 24th 2009 due to the early arrival of its first Airbus A320 aircraft from France. The airline will operate twice daily to Dubai from that date. The carrier's departure point in Kuwait will be the Royal Terminal, which will be the first time that any commercial flight in Kuwait will have taken off from a location other than Kuwait International Airport.
