Dubai is expected to spend more than $7bn on infrastructure in preparation for the World Expo
Dubai is expected to spend over $7bn on the infrastructure required for Expo 2020 in the next six years and it is estimated that overall, it will generate some $23bn for the emirate. It is predicted that the Expo will create an additional 277,000 jobs between now and 2021, when the event finishes.
MEEDs webinar on 8 January looked at the impact winning the World Expo will have on Dubais infrastructure plans. Hosted by MEED news editor Colin Foreman, it focused on developments over the coming six years, looking at what will be built, when and where.
