A new wave of ultrabooks and the launch of Microsoft's Windows 8 this year is expected to drive PC shipments worldwide to grow 4.4% this year and 10% in 2013, according to market researcher Gartner. PC shipments worldwide will climb from 368 million units this year to more than 400 million in 2013, the firm said. More than 75 ultrabook designs, running on Intel chips, are in the works for 2012, including products from Acer, Hewlett-Packard, Samsung, Toshiba and Dell, Gartner said.
