Local contractor is already on site
Dubai-based real estate developer Nakheel says construction work has restarted on its Al-Furjan residential development, located close to Jebel Ali Village in Dubai.
The local Al-Shafar Transport & Contracting Company is already on site and Nakheel expects the recommencement of all of the short-term projects at the Al-Furjan development by the end of October.
Nakheel announced in early 2009 that it had put the project on hold until it saw a rebound in demand for property.
The development is scheduled to include 4,000 villas and townhouses, two schools and medical and retail facilities.
