Gas company denies reports of terrorist attack on its facilities

Yemen LNG Company has denied reports that it has suffered another terrorist attack and has said that it is running its two liquefied natural gas trains at full capacity.

The company also said that its upstream facilities are also working with no stoppages.

A Yemen LNG pipeline was attacked in mid-August, but no-one was hurt in the bombing and service has since resumed.

Yemen LNG is led by France’s Total and produces 6.7 million metric tonnes of liquefied natural gas per year.
