Ynna outlines its Tangier dream

The local Ynna is to invest MD 4,250 million ($486 million) in a series of real estate and tourism projects in Tangier on the north coast.

The plans include two major holiday resorts. They are:the estimated MD 800 million ($92 million), 151-hectare Montagne de Tanger, featuring: a 600-bed hotel; a 120-unit apartment hotel; a complex of 96 villas; a thalassotherapy centre; fitness and spa complexes; golf and other sporting facilities; and a heliport;a MD 1,400 million ($160 million) development to be named Marina du Littoral, which will include: three hotels with total capacity of 900 beds; two apartment hotels with total capacity of 1,200 beds; 2,250 residential and tourist apartments; 11 restaurants; a shopping centre and fitness centre; sports facilities and a water park. The development as a whole will have a total of 9,200 beds and will also feature a medina modelled on the historic medinas of the north.

Other planned Ynna investments include:the estimated MD 350 million ($40 million) Tangier Tower Centre development, covering a total built-up area of 1.14 hectares and featuring two towers, one of 25 storeys and a second with 15 storeys;development of the Fadlallah real estate project featuring, 32 residential buildings with a total of 744 apartments, parks, activities and shopping facilities;a MD 60 million ($7 million) investment in residences for university students.
