Biography:Yousef Jebril is executive vice president of Dewa’s power and water planning division. His responsibilities include planning capacity expansions in the utilities sector and power and water transmission projects. Jebril has a master’s degree in electrical power systems engineering from the UK’s University Manchester Institute of Science & Technology. He is a member of the British Institution of Engineering and Technology and the British Engineering Council. As a senior chartered power systems engineer, Jebril has about 30 years’ experience in the power and water sector. Over his career, he has been involved in drawing up technical specifications and standards, engineering and design, construction and testing, power systems operation, strategic planning, asset management and project management.
