Biography: Zouheir Chebl is responsible for the operation and business development of the newly created division of Canada’s SNC Lavalin ProFac Gulf in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the GCC.

The firm provides operations and maintenance and facility management services. In 2004, Chebl was appointed vice-president of business development in Eurasia and the Middle East, co-ordinating business promotion activities.

He has 18 years’ experience as an engineer in project design and management, concession operation and management and business development.

He was a senior engineer on the construction of the Candu power stations in Korea and was director of postal operations in Lebanon.

He studied in Canada at the University of Moncton and the University of Sherbrooke. He holds a diploma in general engineering as well as a BSc and an MSc in civil engineering.
