

Dubai-based Wade Adams Contracting has been awarded two contracts to undertake the infrastructure works within the Nad Al-Sheba Gardens development in Dubai.
The contract covers the grading and enabling works for clusters D and H of Nad Al-Sheba Gardens and the infrastructure works in zone E.
The scope of work includes general site clearance, trial trenches, excavation and backfilling, removal of existing utility networks, road works, service reservation, stormwater drainage, street lighting, traffic control and potable water systems.
The contract also covers the sewage collection system, main irrigation system, fire-fighting system, electrical power ducts, telecommunications, spare ducts and all utility tie-in connections to adjacent packages.
The project covers an area of over 200,000 square metres within the Nad Al-Sheba Gardens development.
Wade Adams was recently appointed by Dubai’s Roads & Transport Authority for a AED696m ($189m) contract to upgrade the Trade Centre Roundabout in Dubai.
The project will enhance connections between Sheikh Zayed Road and five main streets: Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Street, Sheikh Rashid Street, 2nd December Street, Zabeel Palace Street and Al-Mustaqbal Street.
The project's scope covers the construction of five bridges spanning a total length of 5 kilometres.
