The number of Jordanian households that have PCs and are connected to the Internet increased by around 7% in 2008, reported Jordan Times, citing a survey by the kingdom's Department of Statistics. About two-fifth of Jordanian families have PCs in 2008, the survey found, compared with about one-third in 2007. About 22% of Jordanian households are connected to the Internet in 2008, compared with about 16% in 2007.
