UAE-based defence manufacturer Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB) has secured a contract to supply landing craft to the Kuwait Navy.

The contract, worth an undisclosed amount, will see ADSB supply two 64m landing craft, one 42m landing craft and five 16m Composite Fast Landing Craft. The marine craft will be manufactured at the company’s facility in the UAE capital and will be delivered over the next 24 months.

The contract was announced at the International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) staged in Abu Dhabi this week.

ADSB is one of seven UAE defence contractors wholly-owned by Abu Dhabi government-owned investment vehicle, Mubadala.
