Abu Dhabi's first Midwifery Training Programme has been launched by the Corniche Hospital, a SEHA HealthSystem facility, and the Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT). The 18 month post-registered nurses' Bachelor of Applied Science in Midwifery degree aims to contribute to the Emiratisation of clinical staff, where UAE nationals currently account for only a small percentage of the staff at local facilities.
