The Supervision Committee for the Expansion of Abu Dhabi International Airport (Scadia) has received proposals from four companies for the midfield terminal complex on the first phase of the estimated $6,800 million redevelopment of Abu Dhabi airport.
The Supervision Committee for the Expansion of Abu Dhabi International Airport (Scadia) has received proposals from four companies for the midfield terminal complex on the first phase of the estimated $6,800 million redevelopment of Abu Dhabi airport. They are Hellmuth, Obata & Kassabaum (HOK), Skidmore Owings & Merrill (SOM)and Kohn Pederson Fox Associates (KPF), all US-based, and the US' Fentress Bradburn & Associateswith Australia's GHD. Phase 1, to be completed by 2010, is designed to handle 20 million passengers a year. The US' Parsons Internationalis the programme manager (MEED 9:9:05).
