

Abu Dhabi Marine Operating Company (Adma-Opco) has tendered the development of its offshore Bu Haseer field, according to industry sources.
Nine engineering and contracting companies have been prequalified to participate in the tender for packages two, three and four. Technical bid submissions are due by the end of the month.
The companies understood to have been prequalified to participate are:
- Saipem (Italy)
- McDermott (US)
- National Petroleum Construction Company (UAE)
- Larsen &Toubro (India)
- Petrofac (UK)
- Technip (France)/China National Petroleum Offshore Engineering Company (China) JV
- Subsea 7 (UK)/KBR (US) JV
Japanese Oil Development Company (Jodco), owns 12 per cent of Adma-Opco. Parent company Abu Dhabi National Oil Company is in advanced discussions to renew its offshore concessions set to expire next year.
