Biography: Adib el-Moubadder is corporate director of facilities at the UAE’s Union Properties, responsible for enhancing strategic planning.

From 2003 to 2005, El-Moubadder was facilities manager for the company, acting as technical consultant for facilities management in projects such as Dubai’s Motor City and Mirdif’s Green Community.

He gained wide experience in the hotel industry as assistant chief engineer at Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel from July 2000 to 2003. He was later made responsible for the operation of facilities for the entire Jumeirah Group chain of hotels in Dubai.

He was also appointed as a technical consultant to review the infrastructure layout of the Madinat Jumeirah hotel, specifying facilities management procedures for the complex. El-Moubadder is also acting general manager of UAE district-cooling service provider Emicool.
