Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) has awarded UK-based oil field services provider Weir Oil & Gas a three-year contract to provide wellhead equipment and services.

As part of the wellhead hardware and services agreement, Weir Oil & Gas will deliver 1,100 total surface landing systems to Adnoc Onshore, manufactured in-country at its API 6A wellhead manufacturing plant in Dubai.

This is the first wellhead equipment supply deal Weir has won from Adnoc. Weir did not reveal the value of the contract in its statement.
