Position: Vice-chairman, Al-Rajhi Holding Company
Biography: Best known for his role in forming one of the kingdom’s largest business conglomerates, Ahmed al-Rajhi also holds several positions within the Saudi industrial sector. He joined the family company after graduation and his daily activities involve running the industrial units of Al-Rajhi Holding.
Al-Rajhi is also chairman of several local firms including Gulf Packaging Industries, Al-Farabi Petrochemical Company and Saudi Arabian Carpet Materials. Al-Rajhi has interests in real estate, contracting and infrastructure and construction.
He is also a director of Modon and Riyadh Techno Valley, a member of the National Industrial Committee, and chairman of the industrial committee for Riyadh Chamber of Commerce. Al-Rajhi has a degree in systems engineering (industrial engineering) from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals.
