Ahmed Nasser al-Nasr
Position: Manager, electricity projects, Kahramaa
Biography: Ahmed Nasser al-Nasr is manager for electricity projects in Kahramaa’s technical affairs department. He has more than 13 years’ experience in project management and engineering in the power sector.
He joined Kahramaa in 1996 as a project manager and progressed to head of electricity projects and head of design engineering before he was appointed to his current position. Al-Nasr was a member of several committees in the now disbanded Ministry of Electricity & Water and Kahramaa.
He is a member of various committees related to power utilities and infrastructure development. Al-Nasr has a bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Qatar University. He is also a member of the Gulf Cooperation Council Interconnection Authority, the International Council on Large Electric Systems and Qatar Society of Engineers.
