Air Arabia gets early delivery

UAE-based Air Arabia has gotten approval from Airbus for an earlier delivery date for the first 44 A320 aircraft, from 2012 to the middle of next year. The carrier ordered 34 A320s in 2007 and 10 more in November of last year. Adel Ali, the group chief executive of the airline, told The National that it 'makes sense to receive early delivery instead of leasing aircraft to fill the operational gaps'.
