Al Ain International Airport has been awarded the Aerodrome certificate from the General Civil Aviation Authority following a successful aircraft crash simulation exercise, and an airport safety oversight audit last month. The airport is the second in the UAE, after Abu Dhabi International Airport, to be awarded full certification, according to the Abu Dhabi Airports Company.
