Local firm Al-Hedaya to build 196 homes at Diyar al-Muharraq development
Bahrain-based Diyar Homes has awarded the construction contract for the second phase of its affordable housing project in Diyar al-Muharraq to local Al-Hedaya Construction.
The scope of work entails the construction of 196 affordable housing units, ranging in size from three to five bedrooms, targeted at Bahraini families.
Al-Hedaya Construction had worked on phase one of the project along with Downtown Construction.
Diyar Homes launched the second phase of its affordable housing scheme last December.
The project is located within the Diyar al-Muharraq development, which is designed to become a mixed-use scheme featuring five-star hotels and a shopping mall close to Amwaj Islands off the coast of Muharraq.
