Firm plans to expand oil and water facilities
Al-Khafji Joint Operations (KJO) has extended the bid deadline for two projects to expand oil and water facilities in the Divided Zone between Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
The first contract covers the third-phase expansion of an onshore water treatment plant while the second deal is for an offshore crude project covering new power distribution platforms, submarine power cables and well jackets.
KJO says the deadline for both contracts has been extended from 28 September to 14 December.
Bids for a deal to upgrade onshore and offshore gas facilities for the Hout field are due on 28 December.
KJO is a 50:50 joint venture of Aramco Gulf Operations, a division of state-run Saudi Aramco and Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, a subsidiary of state-run Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
