Al-Redwan wins King Abdullah Economic City villa contract

The local Al-Redwan has been awarded a contract to construct villas in King Abdullah Economic City (KAEC) in Saudi Arabia.

The contract will cover the construction of 134 villas and is worth SR370m ($99m). The company received notification at the beginning of the week and has begun mobilisation.

The villas will be built in the Resort Cove area of the city. The duration of the project is 18 months (MEED 2:7:08).

Emaar The Economic City is the developer.

Al-Redwan is also one of three contractors bidding for the SR450m university building at Taibah University, near Medina (MEED 4:6:08).
