Companies to submit bids by 14 November
Algeria’s Societe Algerienne de Production de l’Electricite (SPE) has invited bids to build a 500-600MW power plant at a site located south of central Hasi-Messaoud.
The project will be natural gas-fired and is to be built on an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) basis.
Contractors have until 14 November to submit technical and financial offers, which will be opened separately on the bid deadline date.
The tender is managed on behalf of SPE by Compagnie de l’Engineering de l’Electricite du Gaz (Ceeg), a subsidiary of local energy company Sonelgaz.
