Biography: Ali Mohammed al-Mazyood is director of engineering at Dubai Health Authority.
His career has spanned a number of architectural and engineering roles across various departments of Dubais government.
Al-Mazyood has a degree in architectural engineering from the United Arab Emirates University in Al-Ain.
His achievements include overseeing the construction of the Zabeel Grand Mosque (also known as Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed al-Maktoum Grand Mosque) in Dubai.
Al-Mazyood is a member of the building department committee at Dubai Municipality, and a member of the UAE Society of Engineers.
