Arabian Construction awarded Pearl-Qatar contract

Lebanon’s Arabian Construction Company (ACC) has been awarded an estimated QR565m ($155m) contract to build residential buildings at the Viva Bahriyah district on the Pearl-Qatar.

Known as VB 29, the project involves the construction of a 20-storey residential tower with a two-level podium, a five-storey apartment building, and town houses.

The total built-up area is about 90,000 square metres. The contract duration is 26 months.

The consultant is the local Cico Consultant.

The project manager is Lebanon’s Dar al-Handasah.

The client is local developer United Development Company (UDC).
