UAE-based contractor will build three mixed-use projects in New Delhi and Gurgaon
The UAE-based Arabtec, in partnership with the local Raheja, has been awarded an estimated AED750m ($204m) contract to build three mixed-use projects in New Delhi and Gurgaon in India.
The Arabtec Raheja joint-venture has received a letter of intent from the local Raheja Developers to build the Raheja Revanta, Raheja Phoenix and the Raheja Shristi projects.
The Raheja Revanta project is located in Gurgaon, Haryana, and will involve the construction of a high-rise apartment tower and low-rise buildings, which will provide a total of 1,000 units. The Raheja Shristi project is also located at Gurgaon, and will contain 300 high-end residential apartments.
The Raheja Phoenix project in New Delhi will contain a 50-storey residential tower, a shopping mall and 2,800 affordable housing units.
