
Emaar awards contract for phase one of Reem development
The local Arabtec Construction has been awarded a AED1.037bn ($282m) contract to build 1,582 townhouses from local developer Emaar Properties.
The townhouses will be part of a community named Mira, which is the first phase to Emaars larger Reem development in Dubai.
The total build-up area is 337,805 square metres and comprises four different types of two-storied townhouses.
Work is scheduled to commence in the first quarter of this year and is expected to be completed in two years. The design consultant for the project is the local BH.NS Engineering Consultants.
