Architect appointed for Dubai school relocation

Jumeirah College will move to Al-Khail Road

The local Gems Education has appointed the UK’s BDP as the design consultant for the relocation of Jumeirah College in Dubai.

The school will move from the Jumeriah area to Al-Khail Road and will provide additional facilities for 2,300 students.

The $45m complex contains three main school groups, foundation, primary and secondary, which are designed as schools within schools.  They will be built around a 600-seat auditorium, administration buildings and a dining area.

The 42,500 square metre complex will also include a sports fields and a complex with two swimming pools, a gymnasium and training facilities.

Construction work on the new building has already started.
