Qatar’s Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has invited firms to bid by 21 November for the contract to build two short roads and four roundabout structures.
The package forms part of the state’s $15bn Local Roads & Drainage Programme (LRDP).
The road projects included in the package are called Road 300, which extends 0.8 kilometres, and Road 1,400, which extends approximately 1.8km.
Due for completion in 2020, the LRDP includes more than 200 road and drainage schemes worth an estimated QR53.2bn ($14.6bn).
Works under the programme have been divided into five geographical areas, which together cover the entire country.
