US-based Autodesk Inc has announced the opening of a new office in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, as the 3D design software maker seeks to capitalize on growing regional opportunities in the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) sectors. "At present, more than 720 projects with a total budget of more than $430bn are active in various phases across commercial, retail, education, healthcare, leisure, entertainment and residential sectors in Saudi Arabia," the company said.
