

Bahrain Airport Company has awarded local consultancy firm Gulf Engineering House with the contract to design and supervise the renovation of the Civil Aviation Affairs building at Bahrain International airport, it was announced during the Bahrain International Air Show held at Sakhir Airbase.
The project will convert the building into a “state-of-the-art” private aviation terminal.
The revamped facility is expected to be completed by 2020.
Other deals BAC signed include the catering contract for all four lounges at the airport with Bahrain Airport Services; and the operation of the new passenger terminal building’s clinic, which was awarded to Bahrain Specialist Healthcare Hospital.
