Batelco's chief executive Gert Rieder has said the company's 54% share of the country's mobile market will 'rapidly change' with the emergence of the third operator after itself and Zain, Gulf Daily News has reported. The 'three-way' competition will lead to prices for services dropping in the next few months, he said. "We have some plans for our customers to try and retain our market share but we know we will lose some of it. We are looking to try and keep our premium customers with us even when we have to sacrifice some of the low-end users," Rieder said.
