Local contractor will supply and install pipes and water tanks in Fujairah and Ras al-Khaimah
The local Belhasa Projects has been awarded three contracts worth a total of $25m for water projects in the northern emirates of the UAE.
Belhasa’s Watertec division was awarded the three contracts by the the Federal Electricity & Water Authority (Fewa).
The biggest project involves the supply and installation of a 16.2-kilometre transmission pipeline from Thouban pumping station to Masafi in the emirate of Fujairah.
The second contract is for the design and construction of two water tanks and associated piping at Burairat in Ras al-Khaimah. The third deal is for the design and construction of water tanks and piping in the Shokha area of Ras al-Khaimah.
