Al-Khafji Joint Operations Co, a Saudi-Kuwaiti joint venture, has announced that the bidding deadline for the construction of gas and natural gas liquids distribution facilities at Khafji oilfield has been extended to October 11 from September 27, Reuters has reported. The project, estimated to cost at least $50m, would collect the gas which is flared and allocate it to Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
