Deal covers operation and maintenance of scheme at Lima
A total of seven local companies are in line to bid for a contract to expand a desalination plant in Oman.
The deal covers the extension of a desalination plant at Lima in the Mussandam governorate by 200 cubic metres a day. It also covers the operation and maintenance of the plant for one year.
The client is the Public Authority for Electricity & Water.
Various local contractors have purchased the tender documents. They are Global Chemical & Maintenance Systems; Oman National Engineering & Investment Company; Towell al-Zawraa Engineering Services; Al-Rafaa Trading & Contracting; Galfar Engineering & Contracting; Nafal Contracting & Trading Company; and Hasan Bin Juma Bin Backer Trading & Contracting.
The deadline for bids is 15 February.
