Local developer Nshama has awarded the first phase deep services contract for its Town Square development in Dubai to Binladin Contracting Group.
The 180-day deep service contract covers excavation and back filling for district cooling piping network, storm drainage and main sewers, across the area that includes the recently launched Zahra and Hayat Townhouse communities.
Nshama launched the first phase of the Town Square project in early March. Once fully complete, the development will have 3,000 townhouses and 18,000 apartments as well as a central square, which will comprise retail, hospitality and commercial space including a range of lifestyle choices including Vida Town Square Dubai hotel and a Reel Cinemas cineplex and open-air cinema.
In September 2014, a joint venture of Nshama and The Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum Foundation was signed to develop the project, which is expected to be complete by 2025.
