BMC Software and McAfee have signed an alliance to deliver jointly developed products for data centres. They will produce a product that integrates BMC's BladeLogic Client Automation with McAfee's Policy Auditor, ePolicy Orchestrator and security content from McAfee Labs. The products can identify, report, patch and fix policy violations. The pair said it was to solve the problem of IT operations and IT security acting independently of one another in many data centres.
